Women’s Ministry Teams

Find a place of fellowship and service in one of our 5 ministry teams:

Bible Study – Discipleship - Education

  • Keeping our ministry Word-based (promote Biblical/doctrinal literacy that informs our everyday lives)
  • Discipleship/mentoring of all ages of women.
  • Resources for nurturing singles, married women, mothers.

Events

  • Come alongside the session and staff with the regular yearly events in the church calendar
  • Plan intentional events for women that support the mission statement NHPCA – whole
  • church and women-related.

Missions

  • Strengthen our relationship with the missionaries we support by increasing communication between them and the church.
  • Keep the church informed about what is going on our missionaries’ lives and how we can pray for them and support them in ways beyond financial giving.

Mercy Ministries

  • Coming alongside women in their brokenness, however it may present itself – meals for sick, overwhelmed, grieving women; help with children; caregivers
  • Outreach into the community.
  • Inviting newcomers and visitors into the life of the church.
  • Be a listening ear, a comforting and encouraging resource.

Aesthetics and Facilities Stewardship

  • Work closely with the deacons to ensure our church building, facilities, and grounds are in good working order, lovely, and welcoming.
  • Develop a culture of hospitality
  • Scheduling Greeters (possibly)
