Randall Van Meggelen, Music & Conservatory Director
Randall Van Meggelen has served as music director at New Hope Presbyterian Church since early 2020. He also teaches piano lessons through New Hope Conservatory of Music & Arts. Randall has served as music director in various Presbyterian churches in Florida, including Covenant Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Panama City, Immanuel Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Deland, and Saint Andrew’s Chapel in Sanford. He has taught Bible & music in Christian elementary and high schools in Toronto, Panama City, and central Florida. Randall holds a Master of Church Music (Concordia University) and is now working toward a Doctor of Worship Studies degree (Institute of Worship Studies).
Randall was born in Toronto, Canada of Dutch immigrants and was raised in a godly Reformed home. He married his college sweetheart, Tina Haley, in 1988, whom he met at Covenant College. Randall and Tina graduated from Covenant in 1989. They have five daughters and 14 grandchildren. They enjoy crafts (Tina), art (Randall), music, reading, and spending time with their grandkids. Randall and Tina are both grateful to be part of the New Hope family where the love of Christ is warmly evident.
Lyndsey Coyle, Administrative Assistant
Lyndsey joined the New Hope Staff in early 2020 (What a time to join!) and is a graphic designer by trade, having been freelancing magazine, advertisement, and other design work for the last several years.
Lyndsey is the first smiling face you see at New Hope, but also keeps up with many of our other ongoing church processes, such as setting up Sunday morning slides, database & website management, and designing/producing New Hope's printed material.
She loves burritos for breakfast, cats, going to the gym, and 70's music. (She can frequently be heard interrupting Richard's sermon prep to demand to know what song has come up on his Pandora station.) She is fluent in movie quotes and has a candle addiction.
Lyndsey and her dad are currently renovating a 1924 bungalow in Downtown Eustis. (Stay tuned to find out if you really can fit a washer and dryer in a 27" wide closet.)
She is glad to have made New Hope her church home.
Matt Matulia, Church Planting Intern
Lindsey Matulia, Children’s Ministry Director
Matt and Lindsey Matulia are both on staff here at New Hope Presbyterian Church. They met here in Lake County and were married in 2007. They have three beautiful girls.
Matt is a state champion from Eustis High School, Citadel graduate and professional baseball player/coach with the Cubs organization. Matt also coached at Florida State University with Mike Martin. He has worked as a manager at the local ACE Hardware store and been the area FCA representative for Lake County. In 2019 God called Matt out of FCA ministry and he began full time at Reformed Theological Seminary where he plans to graduate with a M-DIV degree. Matt works with the youth here at the church, assists in worship, teaches a small group and mentors young men here at church and in the community. We are praying that God would use Matt to plant a church in our area. Join us in praying and supporting us as we try to plant.
Lindsey came on staff this September as our Children’s Ministry Director at New Hope. She is a former elementary school teacher with 5 years experience. She also is the Mom to three beautiful girls that she home-schooled up until this year. Lindsey is a graduate of Leesburg High School and Tallahassee Community College for her AA degree, and her elementary Education degree from Flagler, with a Masters from Nova Southeastern in Elementary Education with an emphasis in reading.
